Learning Goals
The Master’s Degree in Educational Technology: e-Learning and Knowledge Management is a joint programme leading to the award of an official qualification from the different participating universities:
- Rovira i Virgili University, as the coordinating institution
- University of Lleida
- University of Murcia
- University of the Balearic Islands.
The main learning goals on the programme are:
- Training professionals capable of critically analysing and assessing the potentialities of digital technology (DT) as a tool for training and knowledge management
- Training students to undertake projects linked to online teaching, instruction design, and managing and supervising TD-mediated learning environments. Students will consider the technical and pedagogical implications in developing these types of projects
- Providing professionals with the necessary teaching foundations to design, implement and assess media and approaches to create teaching-learning processes for e-learning
- Raising student awareness of digital ethics and citizenship, considering all rights and responsibilities individuals have in environments mediated by digital technology
- Offering practical training in e-learning environments and introducing students to research and innovation methodology for educational technology.
Graduate Profile
The master’s programme aims to train expert teachers and/or researchers, educational technology designers, and e-learning and knowledge management project and programme developers.
