Learning Goals
The Master's Degree in Accounting and Auditing aims to foster the following learning goals for students:
- The ability to interpret accounting information
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and auditing regulations, and the ability to correctly apply them in practice within different real-world settings
- The ability to analyse the consequences information has on the surrounding economic and social environment
- The required skills in creativity and innovation to handle the increasingly complex demands that society places on expert accountants and auditors as a logical result of the breadth and complexity of these social and economic activities
- The acquisition of solid professional criteria to confront new or unforeseen problems and situations.
Graduate Profile
The training on the programme will enable students to practise as accounting professionals. The career opportunities open to programme graduates include not only jobs at financial and auditing firms but also openings in accounting management in any sector. Where students take auditing subjects, they will be trained to start their careers at auditing firms. The main job opportunities available to graduates include working as auditors, administration managers, heads and/or deputy heads of economic and financial departments, external consultants, financial comptrollers and/or analysts, and heads of consolidation.
