Learning Goals
The Master’s Degree in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence provides students with the chance to learn the most advanced multidisciplinary techniques in data analytics, delving into the latest financial and business management methods from a business intelligence perspective and learning the core features of current technology linked to data analysis.
Graduate Profile
The programme offers students the required multidisciplinary training to deal with complex problems from a data analytics and business intelligence perspective, using associated software packages and technology. In this sense, graduates will be equipped with the necessary skillset to work at businesses and service firms, including public administrations. They will be able to comprehensively work on data exploration, organisation and analysis with a view to extracting information, detecting patterns and making forecasts with regard to client behaviour aimed at improving competitiveness, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing innovative elements to products and services.
Current professional profiles with the highest demand include: data analyst, business analyst, business intelligence manager, business intelligence consultant, market study analyst, data visualisation specialist, etc.
Finally, since the programme also aims to train future researchers, students with this profile will receive training in data analysis and be able to pursue a PhD programme at the UIB.
