El principal objectiu del Màster d’Advocacia és facilitar al llicenciats o graduats en Dret els instruments i recursos necessaris per capacitar-los en les habilitats, actituds i coneixements pràctics mínims que els permetin iniciar-se en l'exercici de l'advocacia amb eficàcia, responsabilitat, seguretat i respecte a la deontologia. Si bé aquest és l'objetiu principal del Màster, també s'hi desenvoluparan activitats, fonamentalment avaluatives, que serveixin d'assaig per a afrontar la prova que hauran de superar els estudiants ja postgraduats per a l'accés a la professió d’advocat. Aquest Màster és fruit de l’acord entre la Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) i l’Il·lustre Col·legi d’Advocats de les Illes Balears (ICAIB).
