You can also consult this information for the academic year 2024-25.

Recommended Admission Profile

The master's degree is aimed at university graduates who are interested in acquiring specialised and advanced training in agronomic engineering so as to pursue a career in this field.

In accordance with current legislation, agronomic engineering is a regulated profession. Therefore, graduates wishing to take this master's programme must fulfil what is set out in "section 4.2" in Order CIN/325/2009 of 9th February that sets out the Requirements for Authenticating Official Degree Programmes that Qualify Graduates to Practise the Profession of Agronomic Engineering.

Likewise, candidates interested in taking this master's programme must meet the admission requirements set by the Academic Committee for the Master's Programme, as set out below.

Entry

Students interested in applying for a spot on the programme must submit their pre-registration application within the deadline stated on the website, and in accordance with the procedure for each academic year, as set by the UIB Centre for Postgraduate Studies (CEP).

The CEP will verify whether applicants fulfil the requirements for admission to the programme and, subsequently, submit the application to the programme coordinators to consider and decide on admission.

Finally, the CEP will publish the list of admitted students and provide the enrolment dates.

This procedure is governed by Regulatory Agreement of 23rd March 2022 that governs Entry and Admission to Official Master’s Programmes, published in the extraordinary issue of FOU no. 534 of 31st March 2022 (https://seu.uib.cat/fou/acord/14423/), implementing Article 18 of Royal Decree 822/2021 of 28th September that sets out the Organisation of Higher Education Programmes and the Quality Assurance Procedure.

Programme application specific information

Since this master's programme qualifies graduates to practise as agricultural engineers, the CEP will also consider the specific admission criteria set out in section 4.2. in Order CIN/325/2009 of 9th February that sets out the Requirements for Authenticating Official Degree Programmes that Qualify Graduates to Practise the Profession of Agronomic Engineering.

The prior supplementary training for students who are admitted in accordance with Article 4.2.3 in Order CIN/325/2009 may not count for more than 20% of total programme credits, i.e. 18 credits. The Academic Committee for the Master's Programme is responsible for admissions and, therefore, sets the relevant required supplementary training.
