You can also consult this information for the academic year 2022-23.
The adaptation process to modify this curriculum to the new version for the 2024-25 academic year has begun.
If you started the master’s programme on this curriculum version, you may either continue with it or request adaptation to the new version via the direct admission procedure. Please see the information on the adaptation due to curriculum modification procedure.

Adaptation process

The Master’s Degree in Economics of Tourism: Monitoring and Evaluation was verified on 7th October 2014. An initial curriculum amendment was later requested and approved on 10th October 2017. More recently, a second curriculum amendment was requested and approved on 4th March 2024. The latest version of the curriculum (MET2) shall be implemented in the 2024-25 academic year and the previous version (METM) discontinued.

Discontinuation Calendar

Academic year when the METM curriculum will be discontinued: 2024-25.

Student Admission

New students on the Master’s Degree in Economics of Tourism: Monitoring and Evaluation will follow the new version of the curriculum (MET2) from the 2024-25 academic year.

Re-enrolment for Continuing Students

A curriculum adaptation will be implemented for students with an open record on the METM curriculum so that they have a record for the new version (MET2) and may continue their programme to be awarded the master’s degree. The adaptation will take place at the end of the 2023-24 academic year after the subject records have been finalised and submitted.

Students do not need to make any request. In this way, they may enrol as normal as the new curriculum in the 2024-25 academic year.

The enrolment deadlines for each academic year will be published on the Centre for Postgraduate Studies website.

Adaptation Effects

All subjects in the record for the former version will be adapted to the new record, regardless of whether they have been passed, recognised or failed. The cumulative number of exam sessions will carry over from the old curriculum to the new one, regardless of whether students have failed or were absent from any.

After the adaptation process is complete, the record for the former curriculum will be closed and students will continue the programme with the new curriculum to be awarded their degree.
