Adaptation process

The Master's Degree in Philosophy was verified on 11th December 2013. An initial amendment of the programme curriculum was then requested and approved on 29th September 2014. Recently, a second amendment of the curriculum was requested, and approved on 13th March 2023.

Due to this final amendment, the elective subjects on the programme are no longer affiliated to specialisations and are now part of a single elective subject module.

Student Admission

New students on the programme will be admitted on the new version of the curriculum from the 2023-24 academic year.

Enrolment for returning students

Students with an ongoing record based on the initial curriculum will be transferred to the new version, in order to continue the programme and be awarded the degree. This procedure will be implemented at the end of the 2022-23 academic year, after subject records have been finalised. Students do not need to submit any requests:

In this way, they will be able to enrol on the new curriculum without any problems from the 2023-24 academic year.

The enrolment deadlines for each academic year will be published on the Centre for Postgraduate Studies website.

Adaptation effects

All subjects in students' academic records, whether passed, recognised or failed, will be adapted to the new curriculum. The number of cumulative exam sessions for failed subjects, or those where students did not sit the exam, will be transferred to the new curriculum.

After this adaptation, the record pertaining to the original curriculum will be closed and students will continue the programme in accordance with the new curriculum.
