Phase-out Process

As a result of the implementation of the Master's in Linguistic and Literary Competence: Research and Teaching, the Master's Degree in Catalan Language and Literature: Knowledge and Critical Analysis of Intangible Heritage enters its phase-out process in the 2020-21 academic year.

Students taking the Master's Degree in Catalan Language and Literary Competence: Knowledge and Critical Analysis of Intangible Heritage in the academic year in which the phase-out process starts will have two academic years to pass all remaining subjects, which will be offered without teaching. Therefore, students in this situation will have two consecutive enrolments for each subject without prejudice to the enrolment limitations established in the regulations on continuation of studies currently in force.

These enrolments must be carried out in the academic years immediately following the last one in which the subjects were taught, that is to say in 2020-21 and 2021-22, and students will be entitled to tutoring with the lecturer assigned to them, as well as to be assessed, always respecting the contents of the last published course guide to the extent possible. In the event that this guide provides assessment systems involving face-to-face activities, the lecturer shall make the necessary adaptations to guarantee the proper assessment of the competencies assigned to the subject.

In addition, students who have taken a subject in four academic years and have not passed it, may request one additional enrolment to the study programme leadership, in accordance with the procedure set out in the Academic Regulations.

On the other hand, students wanting to enrol in the new master's, and those who have run out of calls without having passed the credits necessary to be awarded the Master's Degree in Catalan Language and Literature: Knowledge and Critical Analysis of Intangible Heritage, may follow a procedure of adaptation to the Master's Degree in Linguistic and Literary Competence: Research and Teaching under the conditions laid down below.
