General Information

Regulatory Agreement 15771 of 24^th February 2025 approved the calendar for the 2025-26 academic year.

• The academic year will start on 8^th September 2025 and end at the beginning of the 2026-27 academic year, except for academic activities that are authorised to run later
• For master's programmes, the coordination team must notify the CEP about start and end dates of the academic year and assessment periods (supplementary and extraordinary) for approval and publication. These periods must comply with the academic conditions set for each curriculum.
• Records for first-semester subjects must be finalised by 31^st March 2026. In turn, records for second-semester and annual subjects must be finalised by 25^th July 2026, except for master's theses and practical placements, which must be finalised by 7^th October 2026.
• September and October 2026 will be working months until the aforementioned deadline so that students can submit and defend their master's thesis, or external placements can be graded.

Holidays and Bank Holidays

•  Festival of Ramon Llull: 2^8th November 2025. Official holiday at all UIB centres
• Christmas Break: 23^rd December 2025 - 6^th January 2026 (inclusive)
• Easter Break: 2^nd - 12^th April 2026 (inclusive)
• All national and regional bank holidays, as well as local holidays in Palma, Ibiza and Alaior
• August 2026 will be a non-teaching month.
